The faculty’s studio requirement: an exercise-driven course in drawing fundamentals — mark-making, perspective, and constructing forms in space — built around deliberate practice and an active community of peer critique. Famous for the 250 Box Challenge, and for meaning it. Budget real hours; this is the closest thing on the open web to a foundation-year drawing studio.
