LAW 120

Justice

Michael Sandel’s Harvard lectures — perhaps the most-watched philosophy course ever recorded — put Aristotle, Locke, Kant, Mill, and Rawls to work on live moral dilemmas: markets, affirmative action, rights. Law is applied moral philosophy more often than it admits; this is where the faculty keeps its conscience. Lectures are also free at justiceharvard.org.
