Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking
James Engell’s Harvard course teaches persuasion the classical way: by taking apart speeches that moved history — King, Kennedy, Reagan — to see how structure, diction, and rhythm do their work, then asking you to write your own. The faculty’s front door, and useful in every other faculty of this university.
